 sunshine this spring.\nHuntercombe GC, led by Kit Marriott and this year's 
 Club Captain Peter Garforth-Bles provided a splendid welcome to the course,
  which played very well.  In this weather the course and its renowned views
  were really splendid, and capped by an excellent Easter lunch.\nRNGC ran o
 ut winners for the second year in succession by 5 to 1, with very enjoyable
  well-fought close matches in all cases.  \nThis is a hugely pleasant event
 , and for those who gave up a Good Friday to be there, they were thoroughly
  rewarded by the warmth of the hospitality and excellent golf.\nNext year, 
 the match will be played on Friday 5th April (the week AFTER Easter!).  \n
