DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Scottish Tours 2026</strong></p><p>The Scottish Tours are becomi
 ng increasingly popular, but the good news is that we have 2 tours availabl
 e, we simply need to manage the numbers and encourage a bit of flexibility.
  Both tours have fabulous golf courses, which need to be played!</p><p>High
  Constables</p><ul><li>Royal Burgess (prime course in Edinburgh)</li><li>Bl
 airgowrie (Rosemount course – beautiful parkland course)</li><li>St Andrews
  course (Eden or Jubilee - both Links courses)</li><li>Lundin GC (fabulous 
 Links course)</li></ul><p>East Lothian</p><ul><li>Gullane 2</li><li>Luffnes
 s New</li><li>The Renaissance</li><li>Muirfield</li></ul><p>Our aim is to g
 ive as many RNGS Members the opportunity to play these courses as possible.
  To do this, we have agreed that you need to apply for the Scottish Tours, 
 expressing a preference for which tour you would like play. Realism would b
 e good here please. The Tour Manager will decide on invitations to the tour
 s.</p><p>We have agreed that those playing in the High Constables Tour will
  get priority on the East Lothian Tour one year later. Remaining spaces on 
 the East Lothian Tour will be filled by applicants for only the East Lothia
 n Tour, with preference given to those who have not played before or had ag
 reed to be a reserve for the previous year. We will keep a record of applic
 ants over the years to be as fair as possible.&nbsp;</p><p>There will be a 
 cut-off date for application and this will be the end of September 2025 (we
  would encourage early applications please). We will then assess the applic
 ations and make the initial decision on the allocation of Members to either
  East Lothian or High Constable tour. Members will then be told of their al
 location by mid Oct.&nbsp;</p><p>We also have an occasional tour to Machrih
 anish, Machrihanish Dunes, Dunaverty and Shiskine. In 2026, we will do this
  after the East Lothian and High Constables Tours. If you bid for this Mach
 rihanish Tour, I will send you more details.&nbsp;&nbsp;Outline is:</p>Mond
